The Private Relationship Map

Don't know someone who can help? Your friends might.

I

One friend may know more people than you think.

Your friend Marcus has 212 people. A few might help with what your people need. Counts, never names.

You send each introduction.

So who gets the call?

II

Pastors, governors, CEOs and the people who run their days. Lenders and agents.

People come to you.

A job, a lender, a good contractor, a fresh start. They call you, and you know who to ask.

We call them Charioteers™, after the constellation on our seal: the one who holds the reins.

The reins get heavy.

III

It all lives in your head.

Two hundred people. A birthday slips. A friend's friend might have helped. Nobody knew to ask.

III

Questions

  • What is a second-degree connection?
It's someone one of your friends knows who you haven't met yet. On Know Them Well, you see how many of them may be able to help with a need. Counts, never names.
  • How do I ask a friend for a warm introduction?
Tell your friend what you need and why it matters. Ask whether they know someone they trust and would feel good introducing. Afterward, thank them and tell them how it went.
  • Does Know Them Well work with my calendar?
Yes. You can connect Google, Outlook or iPhone calendars. Know Them Well shows a short list of who you're seeing this week and adds each meeting to a separate Know Them Well calendar with a link to your notes, unless it's already on your calendar.
  • Who can see my meeting prep?
Only you. Your notes open only after you sign in, and the calendar entry shows just the meeting and a name. People who aren't in your map appear only as a count.
  • The assistant uses an outside AI provider and asks your permission before anything from your map or your friends' cards is sent to it.
